A summary table of the gestures, a few shortcuts, and the most common misunderstandings.

The gestures in one place

Tap a card	selects it, or clears the selection
Quick repeated taps on a pile	takes that many cards off the top

Long press a toolbar button	prints the button’s name

Vertical drag on a card in the hand bar	takes the card out of your hand
Tap an outer card of your hand	brings it to the middle

Tap the collapsed strip	the two halves swap places
Drag along a toolbar wall	scrolls or reorders
Drag inwards from a toolbar button	drags what the button holds
Tap an opponent’s head	switches to their view
Tap your own head	takes you to your own area

Shortcuts

::: tip Flipping without letting go If you are dragging a card and want to flip it on the way, carry it over the Flip button in the bottom left corner and hold it there for a moment. :::

::: tip Several cards in one gesture If you want three cards off a pile, tap it quickly three times, then drag them away. All three move together. :::

::: tip Dragging and navigating at once During a drag the navigation arrows and the bookmarks stay live: hold the card over one for a moment, the camera switches, and you can drop it there. :::

::: tip Reading a card If a card’s text is small, press the Zoom Hand button in the top left corner of the hand bar: the card grows to full screen and you can page through the rest. On a narrow screen that is your open hand, on a wide screen both hands together. For cards on the table, select them and use the Zoom Selection button on the bottom wall. :::

Common misunderstandings

What you might think	What is true
The hand bar can be moved up and down, and that switches the area	It cannot. You switch areas with the heads: your own in the middle of the bottom wall, the opponents’ on the top wall
In landscape the hand bar and the toolbar disappear	Nothing disappears, only the proportions are different
The navigation arrows come back on their own after a few seconds	They do not. Moving the camera by hand switches navigation mode off, and the button switches it back on
One switch protects my hand and my area	There are three: one shield on each of your hands, and one on your area, all three independent of each other
A dimmed button is broken	It is not: it is there, it simply has nothing to do right now. Press and hold it and it tells you its name
When a toolbar wall fills up, buttons disappear	They do not. Either they shrink, or the wall becomes scrollable
The curtain only hides things on the phones, not on the big screen	It hides there too. A coloured board stays in place of your area, with your avatar beside it

Troubleshooting

Problem	What to do
I cannot take a card from an opponent	The shield is on for the hand you are reaching into. Only they can switch it off, and their other hand may be open meanwhile
I cannot take anything from an opponent’s area	The area’s shield is on. The dimmer area is the sign of it
I cannot see what is in an opponent’s area	They drew the curtain. It is not visible on the display either
There is no save button for bookmarks	The button only appears with exactly one container selected: switch Select Containers on and tap a container. On the shared table only the host can save
My list of bookmarks disappeared	You switched areas. The wall always shows the bookmarks of the area you are looking at
The camera will not move on a one finger drag	You started the drag on a card. Start on an empty spot, or use two fingers
I cannot close the zoom	The way out is the X in the top right corner, even when you started it from the corner of the hand bar
I cannot find the way out of the menu	The back arrow at the top left, or Escape
